The high light of the day was the visit to the Garden Tomb, just outside the city walls of Jerusalem. We followed the Via Delorosa, tracing the 12 stages in Jesus' route as he carried his cross from Pilate's Judgement Hall in the Antonio to Calvary Hill/Golgotha the site of the crucifixion. At the Garden Tomb, we had a small chapel reserved so we could celebrate communion together as a team. Definitely a highlight!

From Jerusalem we headed Northwest to Ceasarea where believers/converts were first called Christians. It is also where in the book of Acts 3000 people were saved in one day. The Apostle Paul, after being arrested in Jerusalem, was imprisoned here for about two years before being sent to Rome for final trial.
